This 55 year old patient is a nurse from Kalama, Washington who saw me at my Longview, Vancouver plastic surgery office for facial rejuvenation consultation.  Her main concerns were with jowls and excess skin of the neck giving her an aged appearance.  During the consultation, the pertinent points of facelift procedure were discussed, including the need for underlying soft tissue redraping and repositioning (SMAS), as well as gentle redraping of the skin.  Anticipated postoperative course was outlined as well, including the swelling expected in the early postoperative period.

This patient underwent an uneventful face/neck lift surgery which was performed at our fully accredited surgery center, Pacific Surgery Center, at Longview, Washington.  The entire facelift surgery took approximately 2 hours.  She did extremely well afterwards, and had a smooth recovery returning to work in one week.  She is very pleased with her facelift surgery, and her whole experience in general.  Here she is shown 6 weeks after her surgery.
