This is a 42 year old woman who saw me at my Longview, Washington plastic surgery office for breast augmentation surgery.  She had been thinking about breast augmentation for a while but was hesitant to travel far from home to have her cosmetic surgery.  She was very glad to discover that she did not have to leave Longview Kelso, Washington for her plastic surgery needs.

Her main concern with respect to her breast enlargement was to be as natural as possible.  She did not want her breasts to be the main focus of her body.  Instead she simply desired a correction of lost volume due to motherhood  She desired to go from B cup to C cup. 

This patient is an ideal candidate for breast enlargement surgery with implants.  She demonstrated the usual postpartum breast changes, often characterized by upper pole deflation and look of bottoming out, with excess breast skin envelope.  Breast implant can address all of her concerns by giving her the desired volume increase with emphasis on upper pole fullness while adequately filling out her skin envelope.  Because she wanted a modest breast enlargement, looking natural was a definite expectation.

Patient underwent a rice experiment for sizing, and determined that the size she was seeking was around 300-330cc which I agreed would give her a very natural enhancement.  She underwent breast augmentation via inframammary (crease) fold approach with implants placed under the muscle.  The breast enlargement surgery took around 40 minutes and went very smoothly.

Patient did very well postoperatively and felt her recovery was quite easy.  She returned to work in one week without difficulty.  She had minimal bruising.  Her after photos shown here were taken at 5 weeks after surgery.  She is extremely pleased with her outcome.
