Before & After Photos

This woman desired an augmentation of her breasts with saline breast implants. She was pleased with the shape of her breasts but simply wanted the breasts to be more proportional to the rest of her body. She is extremely fit and leads an active lifestyle as a nurse, so she wanted an enhancement that would not impair with her busy lifestyle. She was a B cup and desired to be a full C cup afterwards. After a thorough consultation, she chose to have smooth round saline implants placed via peri-areolar incision in the submuscular pocket filled to 370cc's. After the resolution of initial swelling and settling of the breast implants into their submuscular pockets, she was very pleased with the overall outcome – enough to refer her friend, also a nurse, for breast augmentation surgery. Note that the breast implants did not significantly alter the shape of her breasts, but simply enhanced the breasts to a fuller volume. In my practice, I have a fun but extremely important experiment that all of my patients undergo which allows them to visualize their size (and hence their "look") prior to surgery. This takes the "guessing" out of the sizing decision and virtually eliminated any need for reoperation for my patients. The after photos were taken approximately six weeks after surgery.
