Dr. Chung incorporates medi-spa services into the recovery plan for virtually all of his surgical patients to maximize surgical outcomes and minimize scar formation. At Washington Plastic Surgery, breast lift, breast reduction, tummy tuck and other body procedures which involve more scarring are followed by a series of laser treatments for scar improvement. For patients who undergo facelift or other facial procedures, Dr. Chung incorporates IPL treatments to improve skin texture, discoloration, and fine wrinkles. For liposuction patients, he offers VelaSmooth™ or ultrasound to improve skin tightening and lymphatic drainage.
Typically, treatments at Flourish begin at around 6 weeks after your surgery, and involve about 3 sessions. These additional treatments not only enhance your surgical outcomes, but will make you feel pampered and refreshed as well.
